Therefore, it becomes important to have such almanacs on Muslim nations giving an account of the pace of developments there, bringing forth issues that put them in news, and making an assessment of their status in various fields like economy or science and technology, which are otherwise not found in the form of any specific research-based work on the Muslim world.

Need Of The Times 
There are 58 Muslim countries. The Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) is an international Muslim political body representing 57 member-states and many observer nations. As Muslims constitute over one billion of the world population, there is a dire need for an almanac of Muslim countries to keep the world informed about and abreast of various aspects and developments in the Islamic world.
